Sunbury-on-Thames has two quite different sides. Lower Sunbury runs along the river, with its walled garden, riverside walks, pubs and cafés that draw walkers and families at the weekend. Further north, around Sunbury Cross and the residential streets, are garages, trades, shops and service businesses serving a large local population. Kempton Park, with its race days and events, sits on the edge of town.
Those two sides need different things online. Riverside pubs and cafés live and die by Google Maps and photos, because people decide where to stop while they’re out walking. Garages and trades need clear services, reviews and an easy way to book or get a quote. Event days at Kempton can bring extra trade too, if your opening hours and offers are up to date.
I’m a London-based UX designer and my clients are just along the river in East Molesey, including a garage, salons, restaurants and a café. I don’t have a Sunbury client yet, and I’ll show you honest examples that match what you need.
For many Sunbury businesses, the quickest win is Google. A complete Business Profile with fresh photos, accurate hours and regular posts can bring in walkers, event visitors and locals searching nearby. Add a fast mobile website with a menu, booking or quote form, and you’ve covered the moments when people are ready to choose.
Make sure your Google Business Profile has great photos, correct hours, your menu and directions. People out walking decide on their phones in a minute or two.
