About ux/ui design in London.

Good UX is invisible. People find what they came for, understand what to do next and finish the task without thinking about the interface. Bad UX shows up as abandoned sign-ups, support emails and customers who quietly go elsewhere.

I studied User Experience Design at MSc level at the University of Portsmouth and use the same research-led process on every project: understand the users, map their journeys, wireframe the structure, prototype it in Figma and test it with real people before it’s built. On OJO, a gaze-based interface for Apple Vision Pro, testing showed a dwell time that caused accidental triggers. Changing it led to every participant in the second round completing all three tasks without guidance.

Whether you need a single flow improved or a full product designed, you get clear reasoning behind every decision and Figma files your developers can work from straight away.

FAQs

Questions people ask.

What is the difference between UX and UI design?

UX design is about how a product works: the structure, flows and logic. UI design is how it looks: layout, colour, type and components. I do both, so they fit together.

Do you work in Figma?

Yes. All wireframes, designs, prototypes and design systems are created in Figma and shared with you throughout.

Do you do user research?

Yes. Depending on budget, that can be interviews, surveys, analytics reviews or usability tests with real users.

Can you work with our developers?

Yes. I hand over annotated Figma files and stay available to answer questions during the build.

Do you design for mobile apps as well as websites?

Yes. I design for websites, web apps, iPhone and Android apps, and emerging platforms like mixed reality.
