Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.
Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

Wimbledon is really two places. Up the hill, the Village High Street is lined with boutiques, salons, wine bars and restaurants serving a well-off local crowd who expect polish. Down by the station, the Broadway and the Centre Court Shopping Centre are busier and faster: gyms, clinics, chains, takeaways and offices, with commuters coming through on the District line, Thameslink and the tram.
That split matters for your website. A Village boutique or aesthetics clinic needs a site that feels as considered as the shop itself, with beautiful photography, clear pricing and easy booking. A Broadway gym, physio or takeaway needs speed above everything: opening hours, a tap-to-call button and booking or ordering within two taps, because most visitors are on a phone between trains.
Then there’s the fortnight every summer. The Championships bring visitors, press and corporate guests into SW19 for two weeks, and searches for restaurants, bars, hairdressers and short-notice appointments spike. A simple seasonal landing page, updated opening times and an active Google Business Profile let you catch that demand instead of watching it go to the place next door.
My own client websites are mostly just down the river in East Molesey and in Kew, so I know the expectations of south-west London customers well. I’m happy to meet in the Village or near the station to look at your current site and Google listing, and give you a fixed quote for what will make the biggest difference.
It’s worth it if you’re in hospitality, beauty or retail. Update your opening hours on Google, add a short page or banner for the fortnight, and make booking obvious. I can set that up a few weeks before it starts.
Yes, if you want to be found by people who don’t already follow you. Google shows websites and Maps listings, not Instagram grids. A site can pull your best photos through and give you somewhere to send search traffic.
Usually, yes. I can connect the booking system you already use, or recommend one, and make the booking button visible on every page without rebuilding the whole site.
Yes. I work across Merton and the surrounding area, and the same approach works for every high street.
