Sakura Retreat

Sakura Hair and Body Retreat is a hair salon at 65 Walton Road in East Molesey. Its service menu covers precision cutting and styling, colouring and highlights, smoothing treatments such as the nano keratin Brazilian blow dry, perms and texture services, hair-up and occasion styling, and focused scalp and hair care. The salon’s philosophy is a calm, inclusive experience, inspired by the quiet beauty and renewal of sakura blossom.

The brief was to create a website that feels as calm as the salon, and that helps clients understand a detailed service menu before they book. Many services vary by stylist, hair length and consultation, so the site had to present prices honestly without overwhelming anyone.

I designed the website with a minimal, natural-light style and three clear destinations: services, about and contact. The services page groups the full menu into cutting and styling, colouring and highlights, smoothing, perms and texture, special occasion styling, and scalp treatments and hair care, each with a short description and its listed prices. A clear note explains that hair length, stylist and consultation can affect the right service. The homepage introduces the three main areas, cutting, colour and care, and mentions that colour services start from £78.

The about page tells the story behind the name and the salon’s approach: start by listening, focus on the details, and create hair that feels naturally yours, without fuss, pressure or intimidation. It’s written in a warm, approachable voice that reflects the salon.

Clients can book online through the salon’s existing booking page, call or send an enquiry from any page. The contact page shows the Walton Road address with a Google Maps link and a link to the salon’s Instagram.

It’s a mobile-first website design that’s easy to update as the salon adds new photography and team members. For local SEO, each page has its own title and description written for people searching for a hair salon in East Molesey, and the salon is set up as a hair salon in structured data with its address and phone number.
