Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.
Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

Croydon is one of London’s biggest town centres and one of its most varied. Boxpark next to East Croydon station packs street food and drinks into shipping containers, Surrey Street market has been trading for centuries, and the restaurants of South End serve food from all over the world. Out towards Purley Way, trade counters, car businesses and showrooms serve the whole of south London.
That mix means very different websites. A food trader needs a menu that loads instantly and a clear link to order or find the stall. A family restaurant on South End needs bookings, dietary information and directions from the tram or the station. A trades or motor business near Purley Way needs a quote form, real photos and reviews that make a stranger trust them.
Croydon also has a strong base of new and growing brands: caterers, beauty businesses, fitness coaches and service companies moving from word of mouth and Instagram to a proper website. For them, a clear brand, a fast site and a Google Business Profile that ranks for the right local searches can change the size of the business.
Most of my own client sites are a little further west, in East Molesey and Kew, but the work is the same: understand how your customers decide, then make that the easiest thing on the page. I’m happy to meet in central Croydon or near your premises and give you a fixed price.
Yes. A website can take direct orders or collection requests and still link to your delivery app listings, so regulars can order from you without the app adding its fees.
Often a single, well-built page is enough: menu, location, opening times, ordering link and your social accounts. It’s quick to build and easy for Google to understand.
Yes. A quote form, clear service pages, real project photos and a well-managed Google profile are usually the biggest wins for trade and motor businesses.
Yes. I can create the brand and the website together, so everything matches from day one.
