A bold, high-energy website for a Tex-Mex restaurant and cocktail bar.
Tex Mex LDN brings Texan spirit and Mexican flavour to 119 Walton Road in East Molesey. It’s a restaurant and cocktail bar serving sizzling fajitas, loaded tacos, burritos, enchiladas, chilli con carne, burgers, grills and salads, with margaritas and cocktails such as mojitos and espresso martinis at the bar. It’s open Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 10pm.
The restaurant has a big, generous personality, and the brief was a website to match: one that makes people hungry, shows the full menu on a phone, and gets them to order or book quickly.
I designed the website with bold type, rich food and cocktail photography and a menu that’s easy to browse on a phone. The menu page covers starters, mains, burgers, salads, drinks and desserts, with descriptions and prices for every dish, such as tacos at £11.95 for veg, £13.95 for chicken or £14.95 for steak. A search box lets people find a dish quickly, and vegetarian dishes are marked. Links to the full drinks and dessert menus sit alongside, together with allergy guidance and the discretionary service charge, so there are no surprises.
The site has dedicated pages for the menu, the restaurant’s story, the gallery, visit details, ordering and reservations, so hungry visitors find what they need in one tap. For delivery, the ordering page links to the restaurant’s verified partners: Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat. To book, customers can reserve a table by phone or email. The visit page shows the address, opening hours and a Google Maps link, and the restaurant’s Instagram and Facebook are linked throughout.
It’s a mobile-first website design that keeps the restaurant’s energy while staying fast and simple to use. For local SEO, each page has its own title and description, the menu is real text rather than a PDF so Google can read the dishes, and the restaurant is set up in structured data with its cuisine, address, phone number and email. That helps Tex Mex LDN show up when people search for Mexican and Tex-Mex food or cocktails in East Molesey and around Hampton Court.
