Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.
Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

Whitton is a busy, practical neighbourhood on the edge of Twickenham, with a High Street full of everyday businesses: takeaways, cafés, barbers, salons, convenience stores, pharmacies and local services. It has its own station, and it sits close to Twickenham Stadium and the A316, so plenty of people pass through.
Many Whitton businesses rely on walk-in trade and regulars, and some have never needed a website. But more and more customers now search on Google before they go anywhere, even for a takeaway or a haircut. If you’re not there with the right hours, photos and contact details, they’ll find a competitor who is.
I’m a London-based UX designer with a team behind me, and I keep things affordable for small businesses. My client websites include restaurants, salons and a garage in East Molesey. I don’t have a Whitton client yet, and I’ll always be honest about that.
For a lot of Whitton businesses, the first step doesn’t need to be big. A complete Google Business Profile, a simple website with prices or a menu, and direct online ordering for takeaways can make a real difference. Direct ordering can also help you rely less on delivery apps for repeat customers.
Yes. Direct online ordering can sit alongside your delivery apps, so regular customers can order from you directly.
Start with a free Google Business Profile, set up properly with photos and hours, plus a simple one-to-five page website. My Starter package begins at £495.
Yes. I can connect a booking system with automatic reminders, which helps reduce no-shows.
Yes, along with St Margarets, Teddington, Hampton and East Molesey.
Yes. Branding work can include printed menus, price lists and signage that match your website.
It can be. Whitton is a short walk from Twickenham Stadium, so takeaways, cafés and convenience shops often see more people on match days. Setting special opening hours on Google, posting a match-day offer and keeping your menu online and easy to order from helps you catch that extra footfall.
