Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.
Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

Stratford has changed enormously since the 2012 Olympics. Westfield Stratford City is one of the largest shopping centres in Europe, the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has the London Stadium and the Aquatics Centre, and East Village, the former Athletes’ Village, is now a neighbourhood of homes, cafés and shops. East Bank is adding university and cultural venues.
Around the original town centre and Stratford Broadway, a long-established community of independent businesses, food shops, barbers, salons and service companies serves people from all over Newham. Excellent transport, with the Elizabeth line, Central and Jubilee lines, DLR and Overground, brings people in from across London.
That creates a lot of competition for attention. Match days and events at the Park bring big crowds, students and new residents are constantly looking for local services, and shoppers compare everything on their phones. A business that shows up on Google Maps with good reviews, clear hours and an easy booking or ordering link has a real advantage.
My own client websites are mainly in East Molesey and Kew, but I work across London. I’m happy to meet you in Stratford, look at how customers find you today and give you a fixed quote for a website, booking system or app.
Keep your Google opening hours accurate, post about event days on Google and social media, and make ordering or booking quick on your website. Visitors search for food and drink nearby on their phones.
