Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.
Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

Ham and Petersham sit between Richmond Park and the river, with Ham Common at the centre and Ham House on the riverside. Petersham Nurseries and the meadows draw visitors from all over London, while Ham’s parades and side streets have a quieter mix of local shops, cafés and services for residents.
That makes the area unusual: some businesses rely on visitors who have never been before, and others rely on a close-knit local community. Visitors need clear directions, opening times, parking information and a reason to stop. Locals want to know what’s new, what’s on and how to book.
I’m a London-based UX designer. My clients are a short drive away in Kew and East Molesey, including Café Macarong’s cafés. I don’t have a Ham or Petersham client yet, and I’ll show you honest examples that are closest to what you need.
Photography matters a lot here. The setting is beautiful, and a website or Google profile with great photos of your space, food or garden does far more than words. Combined with accurate opening times, easy directions from the park and the river path, and simple booking for events or tables, it helps both visitors and locals choose you.
A complete Google Business Profile with photos, accurate hours and a precise map pin is key. Mentioning nearby landmarks and walking routes on your website helps too.

Yes, along with Kingston, Kew and Teddington. My nearest clients are in Kew and East Molesey.
Opening times, how to get there from the park or the river, parking, accessibility and what makes a visit worthwhile. Keep it short and easy to read on a phone.
Update them on Google and your website as soon as they change, and use special hours for bank holidays and events. Visitors to Ham House, the meadows and Richmond Park plan around the weather and seasons, so accurate hours stop people arriving to find you closed.
