Local research

I checked 85 local business websites in Elmbridge.

Independent businesses only, homepages checked in October 2026. Most of these are quick fixes, and each one costs enquiries.

45%have no tap-to-call phone link on their homepage
53%don’t name their town in the page title Google shows
13%didn’t load at all: expired domain, error page or broken security certificate
61%show a way to book or order online on their homepage

Businesses with a website listed on OpenStreetMap or TrustATrader, across 7 towns; chains and my own clients left out. Each homepage was opened once and checked for a tap-to-call link, a booking or ordering option, a phone-friendly layout and the page title. No business is named. Want yours checked?

More detail

More about restaurants and cafés in East Molesey.

Walton Road is a small but busy food street. On any evening, people walking back from Hampton Court, locals heading home and families looking for a quick lunch are deciding where to eat on their phone. They want to see the menu, check you’re open and either book, order or walk in. If that takes more than a few seconds, they choose the next place on the map.

I’ve designed websites for four food businesses on Walton Road. Tex Mex LDN at number 119 needed a bold site that makes people hungry, with a searchable menu, vegetarian dishes marked, and clear links to Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat. Regent Garden at number 146 had a lot to explain, including a full menu, a Pick & Mix set meal, offers with conditions, and online ordering and reservations through FoodBooking, so I organised it into six simple sections. Molesey Cafe at number 55 needed a short, warm site with opening hours, its breakfast and lunch favourites and a clear “find us” section. Café Macarong, whose Korean-inspired café is at 113 Walton Road, needed one site for three cafés with different menus and hours.

Every restaurant is different, but the basics are the same: a real web menu rather than a PDF, opening hours that match Google, and a clear next step to book, order or visit. If you run a restaurant, takeaway or café in Molesey, I can show you what I’d improve first.

FAQs

Questions people ask.

Can my website take online orders?

Yes. Regent Garden’s site connects to FoodBooking for collection, delivery and table reservations, and Tex Mex LDN links to Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat. I can connect whatever you use.

Can I update the menu and prices myself?

Yes. Menus are built so dishes and prices are easy to change, or I can update them for you.

Can one website cover more than one location?

Yes. Café Macarong’s website covers its cafés in Kew, East Molesey and Golders Green, each with its own menu focus, hours and contact details.

Do you add allergy and dietary information?

Yes. Vegetarian dishes can be marked, and allergy guidance can sit right next to the menu, as it does on Tex Mex LDN’s site.

How much does a restaurant website cost?

Website packages start at £495. Restaurants with ordering or booking usually fit the £995 Business package, with a fixed quote after a free call.
